About Chandler

chandler-headshotMeet Chandler. Chandler has always had a passion for storytelling whether as a singer, actress or reporter. Chandler began her career path at a young age. As a child, she began singing lessons which led to recording with legendary vocal coach Seth Riggs in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 16, she had her first album complete, started a charity and performed her hit song “Believe in Dreams” on stage at Carnegie Hall. Her on-camera work also began in her teens, as an actress in independent films, host for numerous charity events and on TV, including MTV.

Chandler graduated cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University in May 2016 where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Digital Media and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for Entrepreneurship.

Chandler joined PHL17 in 2014 where she learned the business side of the station as part of the sales team. In the Fall of 2015, Chandler joined PHL17 News where she does an array of jobs from on-air, writing, editing, producing, and camera work.

In October 2016, Chandler created her own segment for the mornings news show called “Weekend Picks” where she would highlight the best events happening that weekend in the Delaware Valley.

Starting in February 2017, Chandler became a traffic reporter and producer for PHL17 Morning News.

Originally a Jersey Girl, Chandler was born in the Philippines, has traveled extensively and loves to explore the world whenever opportunity knocks.
